After a couple of false starts elsewhere, I completed my bachelors degree in photography. Through this study I learned techniques in camera use, lighting management, studio set-up, film, book binding, graphic design, small business management, commercial photography, photojournalism, art photography, curation, printing, and exhibition.

In 2020 I decided it was time to put my love for mentoring and coaching to good use by commencing studies to be a teacher. Armed with my media knowledge and bachelor's degree, I commenced study with CQU to become a Media Arts and English teacher. Through my studies I have developed skills in multiple pedagogical methodologies, data collection and interpretation, lesson planning and utilisation, research, profiling, and creating an environment of inclusion within my classrooms.
